Caregiver Training Institute healthcare programs are continuing during this difficult time, with modifications to adapt to the evolving COVID-19 situation. The Governor’s Taskforce communicated to CNA training program directors in the state that there was “a near-immediate need for CNAs and CNA-type health care workers in the weeks and months ahead.” The school is committed to doing its’ part to assist preparing caregivers for the battle. A caregiver in a COVID-19 world is a lifeline of defense in the healthcare system.
At this time, the school’s business office is closed to the foot traffic. Customer service staff are telecommuting from home and are available to answer your questions and provide services to students by phone (503-257-0117) and email(firstname.lastname@example.org). You can contact the office for more information, to make purchases, and to make arrangements to pick up supplies at the school.
Caregiver Training Institute is committed to adhering to CDC and Oregon Health Authority recommendations and government guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the health and safety of our students, staff and the community. Stringent cleaning and infection-control protocols have been implemented, social distancing recommendations have been established, class sizes reduced, and the use of PPE is encouraged in classrooms and required in labs and clinicals.
