FEE’s FAQ
NA-1, CNA-2 and MA students must pay their program tuition in full at least two (2) business days prior to the first day of class, unless they set up a tuition payment plan at the business office at least two (2) business days prior to the first day of class. Online NA-1 students, and students sponsored (or partially sponsored) by agencies and facilities, are not eligible for tuition payment plans.
Caregiver Training Institute offers a tuition payment plan for the convenience of NA-1, CNA-2 and MA students. Online NA-1 students, and students sponsored (or partially sponsored) by agencies and facilities, are not eligible for tuition payment plans. The administrative fee to set up a payment plan is $30.00. To set up a payment plan, a student must MAKE A MINIMUM 50% DOWN PAYMENT towards the cost of their program tuition and PAY A $30.00 PAYMENT PLAN FEE at least two (2) business days prior to the first day of class. The FINAL PAYMENT must be received no later than the business day prior to the final written exam or the student will incur an additional $75.00 LATE PAYMENT PLAN FEE. No student who still owes money will be allowed to take the final written exam until all fees have been paid.
BEFORE A PAYMENT RESERVING A SEAT IN CLASS WILL BE ACCEPTED, students must have received confirmation from the school business office they have met all pre-registration prerequisites and eligibility criteria, and have completed and submitted the registration packet and all required documentation at least five (5) business days prior to the first day of class. Students must have:
- Submitted a digital signature acknowledging they had viewed CTI’s Online Information Session and had received, understood, and agreed to the information covered in the presentation.
- Provided the business office with their required program pre-registration prerequisite / eligibility documentation.
- Submitted their completed, signed and dated registration packet.
- Provided a copy of their government issued, signature-bearing, photo ID.
- Selected a class/clinical schedule.
Fees for textbooks and medical equipment, payment plan fees, late fees, cancellation/rescheduling fees, NSF fees, copy fees, and other administrative processing fees cannot be paid in installments and are due immediately.
- A full refund will be issued if the class is canceled by the school prior to the start of the class unless a student elects to roll over into the next scheduled class.
- A FULL REFUND OF TUITION PAID will be given if a student notifies the school business office of their intention to withdraw from their scheduled program in writing more than two (2) business days prior to the first day of class, or in writing more than two (2) business days before an Online NA-1 student receives access to didactic training.
- A FULL REFUND OF TUITION PAID, MINUS A 10% PROGRAM CANCELLATION FEE, will be given if a student notifies the school business office of their intention to withdraw from their scheduled program in writing at least two (2) business days prior to the first day of class, or in writing at least two (2) business days before an Online NA-1 student receives access to didactic training.
- A partial refund (50%) of tuition paid, will be given if a student attends their scheduled class on the first day of class but gives written notice of their intention to withdraw before the end of the first day of class.
- NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED if the student:
- fails to notify the school IN WRITING of their intention to withdraw at least two (2) business days prior to the first day of class;
- fails to attend their scheduled program on the first day of class;
- fails to meet the program completion requirements; or
- once an Online NA-1 student receives access to didactic training.
NA-1, CNA-2, and MA students may reschedule their program at no cost if they notify the school of their intention to reschedule their program in writing at least two (2) business days prior to the first day of class. Students will incur a $100.00 rescheduling fee if they notify the school of their intention to reschedule their program in writing less than two (2) business days prior to the first day of class. Rescheduling fees must be paid at the time the student reschedules their program. Students may reschedule their program a maximum of two (2) times.
AHA BLS CPR classes must be paid for in full must be paid for in full at the time of enrollment in the class. Pre-registration is required, and classes fill up quickly.
A full refund will be issued if the CPR class is canceled by the school prior to the start of the class, unless a student elects to roll over into the next scheduled class.
A full refund will be given if a student notifies the Caregiver Training Institute business office of their intention to withdraw from their scheduled AHA BLS CPR class in writing at least two (2) business days prior to the start of class. No money will be refunded, and students will be required to pay the full cost of enrolling in a new AHA BLS CPR class if the student:
- Fails to attend their scheduled class;
- Shows up to class more than 15 minutes late;
- Fails to notify the school business office in writing at least two (2) business days prior to the start of class.
Students may reschedule their AHA BLS CPR class at no cost if they notify the school of their intention to reschedule their class in writing at least two (2) business days prior to the scheduled class. Students will be required to pay the full cost of enrolling in a new AHA BLS CPR class if they:
- Fail to attend their scheduled class;
- Show up to class more than 15 minutes late;
- Fail to notify the school business office in writing at least two (2) business days prior to the start of class.
One-on-one instruction is available for an additional fee of $45.00/hour to students who require extra tutoring. There is a two (2) hour minimum for one-on-one instruction. All additional support is dependent upon availability and must be paid for in advance.
