During normal school business office hours. Before and after business hours, and on weekends, you can leave a voicemail message at 503-257-0117, or contact the school via email message at info@thecaregivertraininginstitute.com.
Oregon State Board of Nursing regulations allow us up to 10 business days following your last day of clincals to process certificates. We make every effort to have certificates ready sooner than that, but during our busier times of the year it may take the full 10 business days to process completion paperwork. Students will be notified by email when their certificates are ready to pick up at the office.
Caregiver Training Institute reserves the right to cancel, move, and reschedule a training program or class due to circumstances that are beyond our control, such as low enrollment, inclement weather, power outage, or instructor illness/unavailability, pandemic, or unanticipated clinical facility closures to training. The school will use all reasonable endeavors to avoid changes of this nature and will notify students as soon as the change is known. If training programs or classes must be cancelled and/or rescheduled prior to the start of the training program or class, the Caregiver Training Institute will reschedule students to the next available training, with the student’s consent. Should the offered alternative not be an acceptable option for the student, a full refund of pre-paid fees for which services have not been provided will be issued.
Caregiver Training Institute maintains waitlists for program classes where all available seats have been filled. Students who have met all their pre-registration prerequisites and eligibility criteria may elect to join a class waitlist. If students registered into the class drop the class and seats open up, waitlisted students will be contacted and offered an available open spot in the class. Waitlisted students are notified on a first-come-first-served basis. Notification priority order is based on the date students completed all their pre-registration requirements, with preference being given to those students who also already made a payment towards their tuition.
