SUPPLY LIST

The following supplies ARE REQUIRED for Class/Clinical starting the first day of class:

NA-1 Students

  • Uniform – Scrubs (any color/pattern)
  • Shoes – Fully enclosed non-skid soled work shoes that medical personnel wear.  Athletic shoes are acceptable.  No Crocs, slip-ons (flats, loafers) or open-heel shoes are allowed.
  • Medical equipment (available for purchase at the school in a kit, or priced individually)
    • The following medical equipment is required for NA-1 Students:  Blood Pressure Cuff, Stethoscope and Gait Belt
    • Note: If you provide your own blood pressure cuff, it MUST NOT HAVE a stethoscope attached to the cuff.)
  • Wristwatch, with a second hand
  • Name Tag (provided at no cost by the school)
  • Textbook & Workbook for NA-1 Program – Hartman-Nursing Assistant Care: Long-Term Care 3E (available for purchase at the school)
  • CURRENT NA-1 Class Handbook (AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE ONLY AT THE SCHOOL)
  • OSBN Booklet for NA-1 Students (Nursing Assistants in Oregon / received at the Information Session)
  • Black Pen (all tests are required to be taken with a black pen.)
  • Highlighters (three colors)
  • Note-taking Supplies (Paper, notebook and pens/pencils)
  • Folder (to keep your handouts organized)

CNA-2 Students
